(Literally) Sleepless in Seattle

I just got back from being in the most incredible wedding last weekend in Seattle. I had almost no time to explore the city since I was spending my time with the most incredible bride, groom, and wedding party. It was one of those weddings where you only want to go back and do it all over. It took place at SoDo Park and the venue was quite spectacular. When I get married, I hope that I have the same amount of good and fun people that this wedding had. I made so many friends and did not get off the dance floor until I was pulled off at 12 AM.

I arrived in Seattle the Thursday before the wedding and only had time for a quick drink (or two!) and a snack before falling asleep.  I had just done a work event in LA at the Porsche Experience Center so I was beyond exhausted. Thursday night my boyfriend and I went to Radiator Whiskey and sipped delicious whiskey and ate the Tot-Chos (sour cream, smoked cheddar, peppers, debris, & green onions). The tots were incredible and the whiskey was so good! It was the perfect little stop before passing out after a long day.

On Friday morning I woke up at our hotel, the Seattle Motif, which was at the perfect location. It was a few blocks from Pike Place and OMG…. there was a street a block down that had a Madewell, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, All Saints, and Banana Republic. I was literally in heaven. I purchased a ton of gems from Banana Republic and was set! I had time to sneak down to Pike Place on Friday and @righteyeimagery took great photos!

The rest of the weekend was spent celebrating one of my best friends so these were the last shots taken for the blog. If you are looking for some scenic places or touristy spots, here is what I recommend:

  • Pike Place
  • Kerry Park (Queen Anne area)
  • Volunteer Park
  • Seattle Waterfront
  • Alki Beach
  • Bainbridge Island

Have you been to Seattle before? Where are your must-see places?
