All Saints – My Dream Jacket

This morning I went to SOCO Collection in Costa Mesa. It’s primarily a home decor shopping center but the center space has lots of cool shops, a Portola coffee (!), a farmer’s market, and some really cool restaurants. I had recently purchased a suede jacket from All Saints (majorly on sale!) and absolutely love it. The color is perfect and it reminds me of the white leather jacket with tassels that Lana Del Rey wore in the Ride music video. Continue reading “All Saints – My Dream Jacket”

Acorn Street – Boston, MA

Guys. You need to go to Boston. You know how people build things up for you and then you’re utterly disappointed? That’s what I thought was going to happen with Boston but the complete opposite ended up happening. My sister-in-law and good friend lived in Boston and neither of them could say enough good things about the city. Naturally, I thought it was going to be built up too much but I fell more in love with the city then I ever thought possible. Continue reading “Acorn Street – Boston, MA”

All About that Rooftop Life

Boston rooftops are the absolute best. I just got back from the east coast and went to Boston for the first time. Boston is such a beautiful and CLEAN city. (Literally) Sleepless in Seattle

I just got back from being in the most incredible wedding last weekend in Seattle. I had almost no time to explore the city since I was spending my time with the most incredible bride, groom, and wedding party. It was one of those weddings where you only want to go back and do it all over. It took place at SoDo Park and the venue was quite spectacular. Continue reading “(Literally) Sleepless in Seattle”

Among the Wildflowers

Last weekend I went to the flower fields in Carlsbad. Talk about a great photo opportunity! The fields are beautiful and seem to go on forever.  If you live in Orange County and haven’t been before, grab your camera and go check it out. Tons of people were there taking photos so it’s definitely fun to do with your friends and family. Continue reading “Among the Wildflowers”

PS I Love You

Um, has anyone stayed at the Parker in Palm Springs?! Talk about the ultimate getaway. The Parker is an amazing hotel in Palm Springs that is officially my go-to hotel when in the area. It’s ultra chic and trendy, and a popular weekend celebrity hangout spot just outside LA. Continue reading “PS I Love You”

Not Your Typical Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and now is the time to figure out the best gift. I try to plan my gifts as far in advance as possible to avoid any mild panic attacks right before her big day. Gift giving is very specific to the person, so think about what your mom truly wants. Growing up, my mom loved to just spend time with me. If that meant going and riding horses together or having brunch with the entire family, she would be in her glory. Last year, my mom visited me in Orange County and we had our own mother-daughter weekend that ended up being one of our favorite memories together. We went to nice dinners, spent time at the beach, had massages, and drank cocktails in the sun. It was such a picture perfect weekend and we loved every minute of it.
