Black Leather Jacket: Always a Classic

A black leather jacket is the ultimate closet staple. A white tee, skinny jeans, and a cute pair of booties is one of my favorite outfits to wear. I went to Nordstrom Rack the other day and picked up this bad boy for $17! I almost fell over. Yes, it is two sizes too small but I couldn’t pass it up. If I have to do the Chris Farley “fat guy in a little coat” dance every time I put it on so be it. Continue reading “Black Leather Jacket: Always a Classic”

Collagen Protein – My New Best Friend

I've heard a lot of positive things about collagen lately. It seems like every celebrity has endorsed it and raves about all its anti-aging benefits. I spent a lot of time researching collagen proteins and came across Dr. Kellyann's Slim Collagen Shake. I tried it for 21 days and fell in love. Each morning I make a shake with her grass fed protein powder and feel amazing. I have been eating low carb, so I love that the powder only has 2 net carbs per serving. All Saints – My Dream Jacket

This morning I went to SOCO Collection in Costa Mesa. It’s primarily a home decor shopping center but the center space has lots of cool shops, a Portola coffee (!), a farmer’s market, and some really cool restaurants. I had recently purchased a suede jacket from All Saints (majorly on sale!) and absolutely love it. The color is perfect and it reminds me of the white leather jacket with tassels that Lana Del Rey wore in the Ride music video. Continue reading “All Saints – My Dream Jacket”

Acorn Street – Boston, MA

Guys. You need to go to Boston. You know how people build things up for you and then you’re utterly disappointed? That’s what I thought was going to happen with Boston but the complete opposite ended up happening. My sister-in-law and good friend lived in Boston and neither of them could say enough good things about the city. Naturally, I thought it was going to be built up too much but I fell more in love with the city then I ever thought possible. Continue reading “Acorn Street – Boston, MA”

All About that Rooftop Life

Boston rooftops are the absolute best. I just got back from the east coast and went to Boston for the first time. Boston is such a beautiful and CLEAN city. I could not get over how clean and green everything was. The food was phenomenal and they have such amazing history to discover. Continue reading “All About that Rooftop Life”

Among the Wildflowers

Last weekend I went to the flower fields in Carlsbad. Talk about a great photo opportunity! The fields are beautiful and seem to go on forever. ┬áIf you live in Orange County and haven’t been before, grab your camera and go check it out. Tons of people were there taking photos so it’s definitely fun to do with your friends and family. Continue reading “Among the Wildflowers”

PS I Love You

Um, has anyone stayed at the Parker in Palm Springs?! Talk about the ultimate getaway. The Parker is an amazing hotel in Palm Springs that is officially my go-to hotel when in the area. It’s ultra chic and trendy, and a popular weekend celebrity hangout spot just outside LA. Continue reading “PS I Love You”

Blogging on a Budget

Before going to Vegas, I stopped at Target to pick up some bikinis. I left with three absolutely adorable bikinis for such a steal! I was blown away at how many amazing designs Target has not only in their swimwear but with all of their lines of fashion. I went back a few days later and was hooked.
